Understanding and predicting the behavioural drivers of epidemic dynamics. Also economic evaluation of blood-borne virus screening.

My PhD asks how social contact, mobility and attitude data can be used to understand and help anticipate the behavioural drivers of epidemic dynamics. It builds on a background in mathematics and health data science, and on earlier work using branching process models to estimate the probability that an introduction becomes a major epidemic.

I also work in health economics, on screening for blood-borne viruses.
